Soonhee "Kiss-Kiss" Kwon

“Dancing a mi life”

Biography

Born in Japan, KissKiss fell in love with Dancehall at just 17 after watching a Jamaican music video that changed her life. That love brought her to Jamaica in 2008, and by 2011, she had permanently relocated diving deep into the culture and embracing it with her whole heart.

From language school by day to street sessions by night, she battled through shyness and culture shock to rise as one of Dancehall’s most recognized international queens. Her journey has taken her from Japanese dance floors to iconic Jamaican stages like Ghetto Splash, performing with unmatched energy and soul.

She’s more than just a dancer. She’s a mother, a mentor, a tour guide through her “Full A Vibes 876” experience, and a living bridge between Japan and Jamaica. Even during the pandemic, she returned to Japan to give birth but brought her daughter back to be raised in the heart of Jamaican culture.

With years of dedication, respect for the art form, and non-stop passion, KissKiss earned her crown as a QORIHC Honored Queen 2024. She lives by her truth:
